Taken from hand-thrown originals created by internationally recognized ceramicist Ani Kasten, the Calypso vases’ trademark quality is the material used in production. Aligning with Ani’s practice of sustainably sourcing her materials around her home in Shafer, Minnesota, a proprietary blend of natural and recycled components is bound together to create a strong alternative that is biodegradable and eco-friendly. Casting is done by skilled artisans using timeless craft traditions of the desert. The Calypso collection of heavily textured off-white and brown ombre rough-hewn vases capture the essence of nature while remaining grounded in luxury design.
